Tampa Children’s Hospital at St. Joseph’s
dedicated to the care of children with cancer
As devastating as a diagnosis of cancer is in adults, it
is even more poignant when the victim is a child. Tampa
Children’s Hospital at St. Joseph’s has the only dedicated
Pediatric Hematology/Oncology unit in Tampa. Both
inpatient beds and outpatient services are available for
patients with solid cancers and for patients who have
blood disorders such as sickle cell disease, and aplastic
anemia. A full range of medical specialists with pediatric
expertise is available to provide any support needed by
these special children and their families.
