The Fred J. Woods Radiation Therapy
Center in Tampa, Florida
is part of the Clyde Perry Cancer Institute at St. Joseph’s
Hospital. St Joseph’s is a 528 bed tertiary care hospital
founded in Tampa, Fl in 1934. Because of our association
with the Hospital, we have immediate access to all important
ancillary outpatient services necessary for comprehensive
cancer care including:

Support
St. Joseph’s Medical staff includes
top practitioners in the Tampa Bay Florida area. We
believe in a team approach to cancer evaluation and
treatment. Weekly tumor conferences promote education
and the input of all team members in the management
of challenging problems. In addition to the Main Hospital,
we also care for patients from St. Joseph’s Women’s
Hospital and Tampa Children’s Hospital at St. Joseph’s.
Medical Director, Dr.
Alison Calkins has been at St. Joseph’s since 1992.
In addition to caring for patients and the day to day
running of the Center, Dr. Calkins is the leader of
the NCI Clinical Trials Support Unit which allows us
to offer national cooperative group investigational
trials to our patients.
